Au.2.Adv 1 - Requests appropriate HAT accommodations (e.g., a microphone, connections to classroom devices) 

Au.2.Adv 2 - Identifies situations where the use of HAT is not possible (e.g., swimming class) and adapts accordingly  

Au.2.Adv 3 - Knows HAT options in varying academic/community situations 

Au.2.Adv 4 - Demonstrate strategies for connecting personal devices to assistive technology in the community 

Au.2.Adv 5 - Independently troubleshoots connectivity issues 

Au.2.Adv 6 - Schedules routine evaluations with audiologist to monitor hearing and to maintain/update equipment

Au.2.Adv 7 - Knows how to obtain financial assistance for purchase of HAT if needed 

Au.2.Adv 8 - Understands how clinical services and funding sources change after the age of 21 

Au.2.Adv 9 - Identifies sources to acquire equipment after graduation & for post-secondary education 

Au.2.Adv 10 - Explains one's rights under ADA for accessibility at work/ in the community
