 Au.2.E2 - Reliably indicates when HAT is not in working order 

 Au.2.E3 - Names main parts of personal listening devices and HAT and their respective functions 

 Au.2.E4 - Knows how to turn on/off personal listening devices and HAT 

 Au.2.E5 - Changes batteries as needed  

 Au.2.E6 - Charges listening devices and HAT 

 Au.2.E7 - Knows size of batteries for devices and keeps supply at school 

 Au.2.E8 - Inserts, cleans and cares for earmolds 

 Au.2.E9 - Stores/charges HAT correctly when not in use 

 Au.2.E10 - Begins to troubleshoot when HAT and/or listening devices are not working (Reports HAT status, e.g., static)  

 Au.2.E11 - Wears HAT consistently  

 Au.2.E12 - Begins to explain when and why listening devices/HAT are needed 

 Au.2.E13 - Beginning to recognize when speaker is utilizing HAT appropriately 

 Au.2.E14 - Indicates when auditory stimulus is not loud enough 

 Au.2.E15 - Indicates when background noise interferes with audition

 Au.2.E16 - Requests help with HAT as needed 

 Au.2.E17 - Understands that HAT is expensive and fragile 

 Au.2.E18 - Practices pairing & streaming with their personal listening devices 

 Au.2.E19 - Demonstrates the different ways to connect to various devices (iPad, computer, phone)
